Premiere Pro New Features – New Nest Behaviors for Individual Sources
Want to be able to organize parts of your sequence using nests, but not be locked into treating your nest as a single piece of source?
With this new feature, Premiere has added the KEM Roll feature found in Avid. This features is also found in FCP7, if you hold Cmd while dragging a clip from the source monitor to the timeline. For those of you are unfamiliar with this, it gives you the ability to treat your nest as a single clip, just as you could before. But also, gives you the ability to edit a nest into a sequence and bring over all of the original source clips. You can set its and outs and then perform overwrite or insert edits and cut all of your original source back into your edit.
